I was born and raised just south of Chicago, Illinois. I've lived in Europe on two occasions, once in Rome and once in Salzburg. I love traveling and I love making music. So, that's the plan for now :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because I travel frequently and I don't always have the funds saved to pay for hotels. I don't think it's fair for people to be held back from new cultural and social experiences because they can't afford to pay large amounts of money for a place to stay.

Interests

I'm mainly interested in music, but I find all types of art forms to be interesting and thought provoking. I also find foreign cultures and languages intriguing. During my time in Europe I learned the basics of Italian and German. I hope to live in Europe again and become fluent in a more than one Romance language.

Books: anything about music, history, the universe, or the evolution of man. Also any inspiring fiction...not a big reader though

I once jumped off a 50 foot cliff into the Mediterranean while visiting Corfu, an island in Greece.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I don't think of myself as a well of information, but what I do have is an open mind. If there's one thing that holds people back in life, it's themselves. Usually this is a result of them being afraid to leave their comfort zones and try something new. Your hometown might be your favorite city because it's the only one you've ever seen!
Learn: I love learning about different cultures and lifestyles. The white picket fence America is not the only way to live, and I want to learn about new places and new ways of life.
Share: I have a few stories, but I just want to share quality time with interesting people.
