Overview
About Me
Hi im Vincent and im a French Canadian. In the past 4 years, I've been travelling to different places as well as working/volunteering in different countries. I love meeting up with new people and helping the best as I can. When I first started travelling I was that kind of guy that was close-minded and had a very '' non-drive'' to learn new things. My first trip was in Alberta Canmore back almost 5 years ago and this is where I realize how awesome it was to travel. Since then, I've been taking a lot of opportunities which I probably would have been scared of if I never moved out of my little hometown and I learned a lot about myself and this world. Open minded is obviously a part of me now and I'm really in love with learning and sharing stories, culture and ideas. I work as a chef for a living and I've worked in different restaurants while travelling. I love the creativity that is related to cooking, the different cultural dishes and sharing food recipes. I always loved to see what was the reality of life in different places which i think is another reason why im thrilling to travel. What its like to live in ''this country'' compared to what people think or what the media says about ''this country''.

Music :
Blink 182, Sum 41, Letlive, Bring me the horizon, Beartooth, Hundredth, Linkin Park, Of mice & men, Rise against
Movies :
I'm not a big fan of movies, I prefer watching documentaries tbh. You learn a lot and discover tons of information about a certain way of living or ideas. Here are a few that I remember.
Icarus, minimalist, Chef's table, From first to the last day, Snowdon, The truth about alcohol, The serial killer, Food boozes tattoos.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Franz Joseph glacier in New Zealand was an absolutely amazing hike but unfortunately, it's melting at an incredibly fast pace. Working in the Nunavut with the aboriginal with extreme weather of - 50 for a full year. Really worked a lot on me during that year. Sailing with a couple in the Pacific island learning a lot during that short amount time and I will always remember that experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some basic French. I can show you some tricks to go faster in prepping a meal or knife cutting skills. Share you some good recipes that I have.
About 5 years ago I learned a bit about Spanish and I'm really interested in learning a bit more so maybe you're the one? I'm always keen to learn new home recipes and your daily lifestyle.
I'm always happy to share stories, life events, a meal or a simple discussion on a subject.(i love tea by the way)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm always trying to help the best as I can and I love to share my passion for cooking with others! My primary language is French and im fluent in English so if your willing, i can help you with learning French! I know washing dishes sucks and i have no fear for that ! (I'm Really used to it ha ha !) I have some Québec recipes that i can share and also my knowledge about food. Exchange Ideas and ways of living. Talking about past experience while travelling and General life tips related to my life ( what I did wrong and what I should have done right). I know a bit about photography and computers so maybe that could be useful somewhere in this world for someone? (I'm not a tech tho :') )
