About Me

About me... That is probably the worst question to answer...
I think I am an easy going and simple person. I try to stay as relax as possible and not to build my life in boringness and responsibilities. I mostly go with the flow. I am also an infinite positive individual that really believe that our world is good and that people are great.

I studied social sciences and now I am at the moment going through a major in environment. What I love about my studies is the human being behind the world situation. I have a big interest in philosophy, sociology, anthropology, politics and economy (that probably really sounds boring and serious...)

I think you will learn to know me by meeting me just... There is no better way

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sharing, meeting and seeing the world through some else eyes.
Couchsurfing is, in my opinion, the best way to discover a place through someone else. Travelling as a tourist can be fun, but not as gratifying as getting in touch with individuals.
I think you never know a country until you know the people that lives it.

By the same occasion, I really love chatting and sharing. Couch surfing is all about that.

Interests

Cooking, eating, talking. Everything else is secondary to me.

Snowboarding, mountain biking, slacklining, walking, cycling, trekking, sharing a beer, reading and discovering cultures around the world, all of those are awesome to me, but never as great as the one above.
You can eat and share a beer; talk and discover cultures; cook and read; Mountain bike and eat (might be a bit hard, but I am sure you can do it!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I hate that question and I hate my answer (I feel like filling this up is like a job interview)!

I listen to anything, watch anything and read anything.
If I would have to only pick one thing, I would take Californian ska, documentaries (or Superheroes...) and philosophy. (Place it in the order that you prefer.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Depends on what you consider amazing, but one thing I am really proud of, is being able to almost cook everything from scratch at my home!

I've also made my way to the Canadian Taekwondo championship, but instead of going there I took that time and money to go live in Australia for a year (which was probably the best choice of my life).

I've also helped with friends to set up a shared fridge so people and markets can leave their leftovers. It gives food to thousands of people and saves it from going to the bin! And all that for free :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to make different kinds of breads, home brews, tofu and fermented food. Everything that is transformed, well I try to make it by myself.

Teach me anything you know! Learning is my main reason to travel (and probably to live). If you teach me how to cook, I will be even happier. Eating/cooking might be my second main reason to travel.

I love sharing talks about life (philosophy, politic, economy, music, food or whatever else "life" means to you). I also have plenty of funny stories in my bag to share around a beer(s), a cup of tea, a meal or why not all of those answers!?
I can try to make you some bread (because bread is awesome), but I can't promise you it will be good (I still sometimes fail at it...)
I can also teach you how to make the Québec traditional meal, a great and wonderful Poutine (vegan or not depending on your preferences!) or even a sugar pie.
