About Me
Hello everyone, I'm Vincent who living in Taichung, Taiwan.I started to host backpackers since 2016 and it became part of my life. I would love to host any kind of people who eager to experience local Taiwanese life. I already hosted more than 100 foreigners in those years which is most unforgettable experiences in my life.
Now,we’re not only hosting traveler for the short period but also looking for the working holiday people for longtime stay. (exchange accommodation and food).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking for the opportunity to practice English speaking skill, I think Couchsurfing is a great platform that can let me meet a lot of people from all around the world. I will do my best to help all of the travelers. Don't hesitate to contact me if you wanna go to Taiwan . For example; I could pick you up at Taichung train station or take you to where you want to go if I'm available. Definitely, I can give you some advice about Taiwan information to help you making a trip plan as well. You don't need to do anything just speak English with me, that's all! I really love playing basketball. I started playing basketball when I was 16 that it is almost 20 years now. Usually, I play basketball every Friday night with my best friends who we known each other almost 10 or 15 years. Absolutely, I enjoy playing with my best friends especially after one week working because it's let me feel relax and happy.
Recently, I'm crazy for another sport is Badminton. It's my friend "Black" got me into playing it who is one of my friends that we play basketball together every Friday. We play Badminton once or twice a week. I don't like it at first because it was hard and I lost all the time. But now I enjoy it because I'm getting better and better. I had a sense of achievement from doing this activity.
Nowadays, I also have another interesting is learning English. Why I want to learn English because I want to solo travel all over the word with my family which I never do that in my life. For this reason, I defiantly must improve my English level because I'm an only adult man in my family. For safety, I need to handle every situation when we are traveling that it's all my responsibility.

I living the Taichung city which is a second biggest city in Taiwan. I have been living here almost 10 years since I got married. Absolutely, It's a beautiful and bustling city but it's not too crowd. The famous landmark is such as National Taichung Theater, Fengjia night market, Rainbow village, Sun Moon Lake and so on. It's well-known for its Taiwanese food as well, of course. I quite love living in Taichung city which suits me, because the weather is better than another city in Taiwan, Not too hot and not too cold.
I love living in Taiwan. It's got such rich culture and there is always something interesting going on. If you just start looking for somewhere that you wanna going to travel, Don't hesitate and miss it. Especially, Taichung city and me. Welcome to Taiwan and It will be awesome.
