About Me

Grown up and raised in Germany, I couldn't really hold myself back anymore after school. So after graduating, I left my home town to live and work in a small intercultural pacific community in Suva, Fiji, where I've been doing voluntary work in diverse areas for one year.

Since August 2019, I'm back in Germany where I'm currently studying philosophy!

Many people describe me as an open-minded, outgoing, optimistic and cheerful person who likes laughing about lots of ridiculous things including himself;) I try to emjoy life to the fullest but never forget that we are responsible for each other as human beings as well as nature around us and generations yet to come.

I am naturally curious to move beyond my usual perspective, which among other reasons makes travelling so attractive to me but also means I will always keep an ear to the ground when someone wants to share his or her thoughts on philosophy, politics, history, and the meaning of life...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, couchsurfing means that I can get to know one of the many local perspectives on a place which I can never get by reading travel guides or info signs. It means seeing things with the eyes of somebody who actually lives there, somebody who can show me different spots and tell me different stories about a place!

However, this sounds pretty onesided. For much more, to me couchsurfing is also simply about getting to know the people whom I'm spending time with! What I like so much about the idea behind couchsurfing is how it encourages former strangers to let go and start helping, sharing and interacting with each other :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in a pacific islands community with pacific islands friends and an extended family from almost 10 countries has been one of the best things ever happened to me

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have any special skills to teach so I have to settle for sharing bits of german and the other languages I speak (If you are interested in Bao Fijian, Samoan or Tok Pisin), some piano maybe, or just try to be a good couch surfer by having some fun and good conversations together:-)
Once I'm back in Nuremberg, I love showing people around my home town!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Generally always a helpful hand, and as an open person, I'll share my stories and views on the world despite of my young age;)

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Samoa, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United States, Vatican City State
