Hi, I'm Vincent, currently working in the library at a university in London.
I've been traveling as a backpacker within China and aboard for a decade.
I'm about 51% introverted, which makes me quite enjoy spending time alone; but the other 49% of me really loves connecting with diverse people, cultures and lifestyles.
My friends would describe me as "easygoing," "sincere," "peaceful," and a "good companion" — which I think helps me share good times with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don’t randomly send requests to just anyone on Couchsurfing to save money. I only reach out when I genuinely want to connect with the host.
I am looking forward to having a special travelling experience and opportunity to get local insights.
I believe great people can also be a destination, so I prefer to spend time with interesting individuals rather than just roughly visit a place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked solo from Sichuan to Tibet for a month, ten years ago in China.
I gave a public LGBT+ themed speech at Shanghai Pride.
I worked hard to fund my education in London and make it possible to travel the world.
