Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really just want to make some friends with locals. From what I've heard about couch surfing from friends, there's a lot of trust required on both sides so I think that really expediates and lessens the time it takes to get to know someone.
Some of my longest standing friendships have been made with travelers who have only spent a couple of months in the city, but when I met up with them in their home town after they had moved back, it was like nothing has changed.
I hope I can offer that kind of experience to you, and create a lasting friendship out of our time, and if not, at least be thankful for the chance meeting we had.
