Hey my name is Vincent,
I'm 25 years old and I am from Austria, a little country in the heart of Europe. Since I I have been a small child I've loved to travel all around the world. I was always interested in making new friends with everyone and I'm really curious how people live their daily lives all around the world.
Besides traveling I'm a student in Vienna ( Psychology) and in my free time I like to meet up with my friends, watch movies, do sport, just enjoy the nature or listen to interesting stories.
It would be a pleasure to listen to one of your stories one day too :D

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm looking for like-minded people all around the world. Moreover, when I travel I don't like to stay in hotels, like tourists do, but spend time with locals as much as I can, cause they can give you bigger view on their culture and how they live their daily lives. And I think Couchsurfing is the best way to get know the culture and the people of a country.
And on the other hand I would also like to invite some people to my home in Vienna, so that I can show them my City and make new friends :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I founded an NGO with a friend of mine to teach mindfulness in schools in Austria. We went to schools and started to meditate with children in their classrooms without having a formal education in mindfulness practice. We just lived from our own experience while practising mindfulness. Looking back on that, sitting in a classroom, full with children, all sitting silently and listening to their breath, that was an amazing feat to do.
