About Me
I'm a French guy living in Hamburg since 2013. I grew up in France in Bordeaux and also lived in Aix-en-Provence (Marseille area) for almost 5 years before I moved to Hamburg.
My super power is to be able to cook healthy meals almost every day :-D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe Couchsurfing is not only about saving money. I'm not afraid to open up to new people and love deep exchanges. Small talks are not my best ;-)
The best moments I remember of my travels are mostly linked to happy encounters, and I think couchsurfing is a great way to get to meet open-minded and inspiring people.
Don't hesitate to send me a request! In general I prefer to host single persons.
Interests
I'm interested in music and arts in general (more details below). I'm learning photography and although my pictures are generally terrible I'm not afraid to spend some time to try to take a nice shot.
I also spend quite some time in my kitchen! For about two years I've been a lot into paleo, real food and raw cooking! I have recently learned a lot about ayurveda and try to put it in practice...
Because of my studies and work area I'm also into computer stuff, programming, hacking kind of things, Linux and open source, etc.
On the sport side I sometimes go swimming and bouldering. I'm interested into learning yoga and similar stuff like do-in. I also practice meditation.
Oh and I happened to learn dancing Swing but didn't practice for a while ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: wide range, let's drop a few names as a start: Arcade Fire, Chinese Man, General Elektriks, Amon Tobin, Ibrahim Maalouf, dEUS, Emilie Simon... I love classical too, especially chamber music from Schubert, Mozart...
Movies: there are a few directors I love, let's cite Quentin Tarantino, Terry Gilliam, Woody Allen and Jacques Audiard
Books: my favorite is Les racines du ciel (The roots of heaven) by Romain Gary
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed two days in the Buddhist temple of Beomeosa in South Korea. It was truly amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
Like most of us I am progressing on my little personal way of finding myself and learning what I can do for myself and for the world. Meeting all kind of new people, very special and yet very different, while hosting and surfing, helps me to progress faster. I hope to be able to give as much as I am receiving.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can prepare breakfast and cook in general, clean stuff, and help with computers!
