Hi, I’m Vincent Chevalier, a full-time children’s book author and digital nomad for the past two years. My journey has taken me through Thailand, Sri Lanka, and French Polynesia. Just before arriving in Brazil, I embarked on an incredible boat trip from Panama to the Marquesas Islands. Now, I’ve arrived in Brazil to meet new people and find inspiration for my fourth book, which will be set in this amazing country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has been an essential part of my travel experience, allowing me to connect deeply with local cultures and meet fascinating people along the way. As I work on my next book, which will take place in Brazil, I’m excited to form meaningful connections that will inspire my writing and help me explore this vibrant country from a local’s perspective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve hand-drawn wild peacocks that eventually became my pets in Cameroon.
I’ve trekked through the jungles of Uganda, searching for elusive mountain gorillas.
I’ve crossed both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans by sailboat.
And I continue to travel the world, writing books along the way.
