Hosting with an apartment in the gold coast, 10 minutes by bus from downtown that you can stay in.
Let me preface by saying I'm probably a terrible host, as I am quite busy with school.
I'm only hosting people that speak Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish fluently. I know it says I'm fluent in these languages, I lied about that because it doesn't show up when I just say I'm learning them, not fluent but I'm decent with those languages.
I won't take you around or cook for you or do the cool things some other hosts do. Unless there's some cool event going on, then maybe.
I probably can't provide you with a key to my place, but I'll be home 80% of the time, so that shouldn't be a problem.
I have an extra bunk bed, and an uncomfortable couch if you are 2 travelers.
But if you just need a place to stay that is close to downtown Chicago, then my place will work out for you.
