I was born and raised in Southern California, moved to Arizona after high school graduation, and then spent a year traveling Southeast Asia. Nowadays, I travel in small doses but always find myself back in Arizona (was in Europe for about 4-5 months but came back to AZ after homesickness got too strong!)

The most memorable recent experience was the annual sky lantern festival in Chiang Mai at the Mae Jo university. Literally THOUSANDS of people on a field, all igniting sky lanterns and releasing them at the same time. Incredible view.
