ABOUT ME

Ahoy!
My name is Vince, I am from Charlotte, NC, USA and I have had two major travel abroad experiences. In 2010 I lived in Cairo, Egypt for a a semester at the American University in Cairo. In 2011 and 2012, I lived in Chengdu, China for a psychology research project. I worked as an English teacher and studied Mandarin. Through these experiences I have grown tremendously as a person. I wholeheartedly love to try new things, meet new people, and eat eat eat where ever I go!

One day, I will be a "Doctor Without Borders".

I surf more than I host but I am open for anything!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurf-ed in Syria for one week by myself and it was a great first-time experience.
I hosted surfers in my Chengdu apartment and I have also surfed couches around China as well as Washington, D.C.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Great Pyramids of Giza, snorkeling in the Red Sea, Sunrise on top of Mt. Sinai, being chased by Egyptian police, met Snooki, hiked the Great Wall of China, and marched with Chinese soldiers in the Forbidden City.
