To finish both refurbishing the house and building my car.

ABOUT ME

At the age of 55, I have finally found out what I want to do when I grow up, I became a university student studying furniture restoration. Alhough I am still not sure I want to grow up.
In my leasure time I go dancing with my wife, spend time with my 3 children and my 2 grand children, play with old cars and motorcycles, listen to music, work on our house, and go to the theatre.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is full of freinds, I just havn't met most of them yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fairly limited but all experiences have been good. The highlight was a lovely lady in Helsinki who hosted my wife and I for 3 nights and showed us around the city.

Intereses

My wife and I spend our free evenings doing any kind of dancing that we can, modern jive(Ceroc), 50s rock & roll jiving, Cajun, barn dancing, Irish dancing.
I have been doing theatre lighting, on an amature basis for 20 yrs
I love to travel and have visited the USA, China, Russia, Thailand, Cambodia, Antigua, Barbados, India, and few countries in Europe.
I love to travel but hate being a "Tourist"
I am also a bit of a "petrol head" and enjoy motor sport.
I cannot understand why people get exited about football!

I watched a touring Chinese Opera perform on a temporary bamboo stage in the middle of a clearing on a farm in Hainan Island, China. The music was horrible, the weather was pouring rain, but the experience was fantastic!!
