ABOUT ME

I'm humorous and optimistic. Before 2011, I was just a Chinese teacher in Taiwan, doing my ordinary life. Then, I went to Canada with working-holiday visa, and found a lot of nice people over there. I had so many beautiful memories and experiences in Canada. And now, I love to travel, because it can open my mind. And that's why I'm here.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew "CouchSurfing" because of my friends. Before becoming a member of this group, my boyfriend and I had a nice dinner with some couch surfing friends. They shared with us their experiences of traveling, one of them even shared her couch-bed for us. Then, I fell in love with it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When my boyfriend and I traveled in Sudbury, we had a happy dinner with some couch surfing friends because of our friend, Amanda. She invited us to join them, and her friend, Anna, offered us her couch bed for that night. This my first experience of couch surfing. It's so happy and warm.
The second experience is in Stephanie's house. We went to Timmins for northern light. We didn't see any aurora, but she made us know the small lovely town of northern Ontario. Because of her enthusiasm, I love Canada much more.

Interesses

I love reading, traveling, seeing movies.
Love to feel different cultures of different countries.

Any kind of thought-provoking movies, like "The Godfather"; or moving films like "The Shawshank Redemption".
I like mellow ballads or upbeat pop music.
Books I'm interested in are usually about Chinese literature and culture.

When I was a Chinese teacher in school, I always used various methods for teaching. My teaching style caught students' attention, made them feel interesting in Chinese studies.

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

I can teach Mandarin(included Traditional and Simplified Chinese) very well. I'm good at Chinese literature and culture.
I'm interest in different people's traditional food, cultures, and education of kids.
I can share with people the skills in penmanship and cooking Taiwanese food.
