About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Save some money so I can travel again

ABOUT ME

I'm a sociable guy who likes to have a great time and has a passion for culture in all its forms. I'm working for the cultural section of the Brazilian Embassy in Brussels, which was the perfect opportunity to learn Portuguese.
As a hobby, I have a lifestyle and culture site, where I talk about all my experiences (fashion, food, going out, art, travel, photography...). If you want to know more about me, I seriously recommend you visit http://www.strutterview.com (it's in English). Of course you can also just send me a message through CS and I'll gladly reply.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy every second of your life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently living with my boyfriend and my best friend in the city center of Antwerp. Since we can't give a copy of our keys to CSers and we're often not at home, it's hard to host someone properly. Still, I'd gladly guide you around in my city. I'm one of the contributors of www.ThisIsAntwerp.be, so I know a thing or two about my hometown.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was when I was travelling through Italy with my former bf. We stayed at a couch in Florence and Rome. CouchSurfing definitely made the trip even better.
I travelled alone to Brazil and in Rio I stayed at 2 marvelous CS hosts. In São Paulo I stayed at another CS girl's place, together with one of my Rio CS hosts. I also met 2 other CS members with whom I partied.
I met great CS people in London too and afterwards two of them have visited me in Antwerp.
My most recent CS experience was in Stockholm, where a friend and I stayed at a lovely Finnish girl's place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Winning an international competition whith thousands of participants and being able to go to New York Fashion Week was a pretty amazing experience.
Living in Paris for four months was another moment in my life I'll never forget. It had a large impact on my life.
My Brazil trip was in general one amazing experience after another.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could give some tips to people who want to learn Dutch, English or French (or who want to improve it).
People who want to know more about blogging and the basics of photography can always ask me too.
For the rest I think you learn the most when you just have a conversation and don't think about learning.
Still, I always love to learn a bit about the language of the country I'm visiting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good times & Belgian chocolate!
