About Me

Hey,
I'm Vince and I'm a 23 year old student currently studying Industrial Engineering in Aachen.

To describe myself, I'm pretty open towards new people and like meeting friends and having a craft beer in a local bar. And I know the best local bars in Aachen. Furthermore I enjoy hosting a barbecue or a party at my place and I'm into cooking. So if you have a recipe from home that you wanna share, tell me and we make it happen (I'm a vegetarian though).

And I love music. I love how a good song surprises me. I play the piano, ukulele and I'm a little into music production too. I'd say, I'm that chilled dude which whom it's easy to spend a nice evening.

After school, I started my traveling career with learning Spanish in Salamanca, Spain. Then I went backpacking to Chile and Costa Rica for half a year. I had a pretty nice time there. While working in social projects, I started wave surfing and I loved it. And I went backpacking, moving from one hostel to another and visiting the beautiful nature of Costa Rica.
After that, I spent an ERASMUS Semester in Valencia, Spain and enjoyed some Paella and Tapas there. Marvelous city, I can definitely recommend it for an ERASMUS semester.

Then I've been on the Camino de Santiago. Never have I ever had such a beautiful time in my life before. Yes, it is connected to a lot of hiking and yes, you have to wake up early. But the landscape was marvelous and the people you meet on the Camino are so humble, honest and heartwarming.

Recently I made a road trip to Belgium with a friend. The beer there is just special. And the country is beautiful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a traveler. When a trip is over, I am already planning my next one. I have seen some spots of the world, but more interestingly, I've met fellows from all over the world. I won't see the entire world or every country of it. But come over to my place and tell me your stories where you've been and what you experienced on your journeys.
