Overview
About Me
I am Vincenzo, a nomad and backpacker from Italy.
After years of waiting for summer vacations to travel, I decided to dedicate my life to full-time exploration. My backpack has become my home as I traverse the globe. I am passionate about slow travel, capturing moments through photography, and immersing myself in diverse cultures.
Recently completing a year-long journey through South America, my adventure took me from Colombia to Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Cile and Argentina. I'm proud to say I reached Patagonia without relying on a single flight, traveling all the way from Medellín to Ushuaia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here on Couchsurfing not just to find a place to crash or save on hostel nights, but to connect with like-minded souls during my travels. I use this platform when I'm eager to dive deeper into the culture of the places I visit. It's about the genuine desire to understand and appreciate the world around me, one meaningful encounter at a time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Even though a year in South America and becoming a nomad might seem like big accomplishments, the most amazing thing for me was a small journey in Sicily. I walked from one coast to another, and it changed my life. Sometimes, it's the little adventures that make the biggest difference.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning about the cultures I visit—traditions, local foods, and customs. I might not have a special skill to teach, but I'd be happy to show you how to make delicious Italian pasta.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I see Couchsurfing as more than just a way to save on hostel costs—it's about the joy of cultural exchange. What I can bring to our encounter is the experience of meeting and making friends from different corners of the globe.
