ABOUT ME

Recently moved back to Chicago after living overseas in Turkey and Cyprus for the past five years. My wife and I met through Couch Surfing in Istanbul, and now we are ready to meet people visiting or living in Chicago, and maybe host a couple of travelers here as well.

I'm always grateful for the opportunity to meet new people and learn new things about different cultures, countries, the arts and sciences, and I am happy to help people visiting my area learn the place and make it feel like their own.

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught a creative writing class at Literacy Chicago, and English in Istanbul for three years before getting married and moving to my wife's native Cyprus. I've been a writer for ten years and have published a few works. My wife and I moved back to Chicago in the summer of 2018.
