About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My goal is enlightenment! My mission is seeing the world and feeling comfortable everywhere I go. So far the craziness I have felt in tangere is the closest feeling to home I have ever felt. Nothing is too crazy!

ABOUT ME

I love getting to know people! I only deal with true honest people, if I get a feeling that the people I'm around are fake I totally start to seperate from them. Although sometimes to be polite this won't be visible to anyone! Other then that I get along with anyone from any walks of life and draw even closer to anyone that enjoys a bit of exercise for their fun time or doesn't complain about the small shit that goes wrong!

PHILOSOPHY

"It is impossible to suffer or be unhappy in the present! If we are unhappy it is because of something in the past that is bothering us, or some expectations we have of the future." Have fun! Be positive, and as long as you are not hurting yourself or others, there is no wrong or right way of living!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had one experience so far, which was the best I could hope for out of couchsurfing! I was taken out each day I was in tangere by a great local man named Omar, while I as traveling around with my friend Zach.

Interests

I love surfing and rock climbing, seeing any place that I have never been before. Being lost! I love going to hikes through the mountains or forests and since visiting Portugal I have found a my love for historical architecture and everything old!

Music, Movies, and Books

For music I play the guitar badly but I can pick up things quick when I jam with better players. Most of the time I just like single songs instead of artists, just cause listening one band will tire me out quickly. But for now I like, canned heat, janelle monae, die antwoord, bob Dylan, everlast, rehab, Matt costa, and something that really hits the nail on the head for me is John mayers new album "paradise valley". Oh and I can't forget the kaau crater boys. As for movies I have too many favorites to even start listing, so if you want to make that a topic of conversation I'm just fine with that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Catching my first overhead wave!
Hanging by one hand from the very top of a 25 meter tree!
Camping in the red woods of northern california for a week by myself!

Teach, Learn, Share

So I know how to surf and I feel like I can reach anyone what they need to know just by going to the beach and watching the waves. I can show you how to build a house or just to make needed repairs. Juggling is great fun to have on the back burner if tricks. Like I said before I play the guitar, badly, but I am always willing to teach someone all I know. Which is mostly a handful of chords and a few songs. I have learned the art of BBQ, if you are one of those people that always burns beautifully marinated meat, there are some very simple does and donts, haha. As for myself languages are my biggest interest at the moment. I need to learn more French, Spanish, and Arabic in a big way! Cooking has always been fun to me but I still feel like I can't even call myself "good". Another big one for me is to learn about photography, I found a real passion for it traveling around but still know nothing about real cameras and all there settings. With all this said, I always love to learn what people have to teach, no matter how small or meaningless you may think it to be!
