About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Discovering/learning/helping/enjoying everyday
and trying to make the world a better place.
ABOUT ME
After 8 years abroad Im back to France, back to Lyon, back to school and back to my parent's... The good news is that was a choice ! Not because I missed them all, but to start a new career closer to my passion. No more cars, but people and travel !
Before that I was born and raised in France but lived in England, China and Italy. Officially for work, informally, I used to be a spy... just kidding. I enjoy changing place regularly in order to keep curious and awake as travelling. I think as well that I have been very lucky to be born on this side of the world and that's my duty to help in anyway.
PHILOSOPHY
If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine it's lethal. Paulo Coelho
Freedom is not to go everywhere but where we want
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to show my guests what I know about my city and sharing experiences.
No password code or house rule exposed here, just a sincere human exchange.
Bernard, my bunk bed, is very generous and comfy but I wouldn't recommend you to write a copy paste message otherwise , he might think that you don't deserve him and he would probably forget to answer you back.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I discovered couchsurfing when I was living in London 10 years ago.
I now travel and surf as much as I can. The rest of the time I try to host when it's possible.
Interests
Adventure, sports, photography, history, geography, anthropology, learning, the unexpected, socializing, discuss the world and the big questions...
Music, Movies, and Books
As for music I have very eclectic taste for movies. Into the wild, L'auberge espagnole, Russian dolls, Le premier jour du reste de ta vie, Nos jours heureux, Intouchable, Drive, Tarantino's...
I enjoy reading history books, especially Albert Londres. He is an incredible reporter who travelled, analysed and wrote at the begining of the 20th century, a true inspiring testimony.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
October 2007, my new italian flatmate invite me to join him and some people to eat pizza... We bought some, went to a building in the 16eme arrondissement of Paris. We began to climb the stairs, first floor, second floor... until the last one. A ladder, few more steps, the door opened, people were partying on the roof, Paris and the Eiffel tower. Music, beer, pizza and almost only foreigners. The beginning of everything!
2015, Riding 2500 km on a bicycle on my own in Australia
2016, travelling from Shanghai to Bologna by train
2019, leaving my job at Ferrari to go back to school after 12 years.
2020, starting new carreer in tourism despite covid :P
Teach, Learn, Share
I think that people make the countries. Sharing and learning from others in the essence of the travels. I believe that it's possible to make the world better by knowing and helping each other.
