I have been bit by the travel bug and am only enjoying the symptoms so far. Although I have long known couchsurfing, have seldom put it to use. I'm just excited and looking forward to this experience.

CouchSurfing opens doors to explore places with a local, as a local. I look forward to meeting people from different places and cultures, try and find things common between us, exchange travel tips and share memories.

Interests

Professionally, I'm into computer networks. Work 9to5 for a start-up like mid-size company in San Jose, California.

Outside work, I find myself juggling between various activities like running, watch TV, cooking, hiking, rock climbing(indoors), board games, swimming, ping pong and reading.

I like to spend time exploring water bodies(especially clear water lakes and waterfalls), hikes that involve lush green surroundings.

Music: House, Bollywood.

Movies: Progressive drama, comedy, LOTR, HP.
TV Shows: Don't get me started here: Drama again(GoT, The Crown, Narcos and what not), Comedy(Veep, Silicon Valley, Friends etc.), Documentaries: Planet Earth, Frozen Planet, India etc.

Books: Not a fast reader. Mostly into fiction, mystery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydived. 👋

Drove to a chilly lake in the middle of a forest in Oregon. There was no one around. It was scary and fun at the same time(considering Oregon has around 80000 black bears in their forests.

I have too little to TEACH:
How to quickly make any Indian curry?
How to quickly empty a can full of milkmaid(condensed milk) into your stomach?
Some phrases in 3 different languages(all Indian)
How to fake play a keyboard, and pose as if you composed the music?
And some board games.
