I'm a retired high school teacher who always lived in big cities. I now live in the country on the edge of a small town and love it. Have started to garden and birdwatch and still like to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host whenever we can; promote couchsurfing constantly; try to incorporate 'guesting' as part of all our trips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted many travellers from all over the world through organizations such as this one for 20+ years. Always fun and interesting. The first time was a 'guest' was in 2003 when spent 60 nights in Southern Africa and spent 12 nights with hosts - so fun!! Now try to incorporate a stay on every trip (and there have been lots since then).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Boating and walking around the Galapagos was amazing!! Sailing in the out islands of the Bahamas!!
