About Me

I am a 30-year old Brazilian guy, who loves music. I've lived in Brasilia, Brazil, since I was born, with a six-month intermission in 2007, when I lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I also lived in Paris, France, from 2011 to 2013, and in Rio de Janeiro, in 2017.

At the moment I don't have a home and I'm traveling throughout Europe visiting friends. I'll be back to Brazil in the end of June.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe a trip is much better if you feel the city. I don't enjoy going to touristic places as much as I enjoy going to a local place, bar or café, knowing places where people really enjoy. Couchsurfing is the way I liked the most to meet people who can show me how nice and special a specific place can be. I've never had any bad experience with it and at the same time I was able to meet very interesting people from a lot of different places and backgrounds.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in San Diego (US), at Jimmy's house; in Los Angeles (US), at Quan, Charles, Mike, Jinesh and Mike's appartment; in Rio de Janeiro (BR), at Eduardo's appartment. At Thibaut's, in Marseille (FR). At Eliane's, in Manosque (FR). At Sarmad's, in Nice (FR).

Everytime was a wonderful experience.

Interests

As I said, I love music, especially artists such as The Talking Heads, Brian Eno, Fela Kuti, Lee Perry, Art Blakey. I also love to listen to new groups, such as Dawn of Midi and Animal Collective. I enjoy hip-hop and some electronic music as well, such as Earl Sweatshirt and Danny Brown, or Nicolas Jaar and Four Tet. But I listen a lot to Brazilian music, as well. My favourite Brazilian artists are Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil.

If we talk about cinema, I'd say my favorite director is Antonioni.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm talkative but I respect a lot someone's space. I'm not loud or lousy. Anyway, I believe everyone needs respect and, at the same time, attention. So, if people are open to share something with me, I'm also ready for it. If not, I don't feel bad for it :)
