About Me
Hello from a nomadic dancer and poet who loves adventure! For the past 5 years (outside of covid) I have been traveling and volunteering on farms or with non profits for the joy of experiencing different cultures and languages!
I spend most of my time outside, writing poetry and dancing. I love trying new things and connecting with other creatives. In Atlanta I also have curated poetry and music events
.
My first trip backpacking was to Ecuador for 3 months where I was working in community agriculture and art. I stayed with host families and learned Spanish through immersion. It was absolutely the best introduction to solo travel and adventuring into new places. I also learned to surf, an amazing experience that I’ll definitely return to South America for!
My family is from the Caribbean islands of Anguilla and Antigua so I travel there as much as I can to see my relatives and reconnect with the ocean. I’ve also traveled to Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Spain, and love to practice my Spanish.
Now I just want to see new places and connect with amazing people through food and shared passions. I love music, singing, and am learning the Caribbean steel pan drum and conga drums. From October 2023 I will be fully nomadic and traveling the Caribbean and into Europe for 2024.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Wherever I am, always interested in hearing from locals. Always looking for beautiful natural spaces for hiking, great restaurants, live music spots, and connecting with new people. Even better if we can do some language exchange!
