I am a happy go lucky optimist who lives to learn and loves to live. A documentary film maker, translator by profession and photographer and travel manager by passion, I love to see new places, experience the unknown and broaden my horizons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

1) I host people regularly or make sure alternate arrangements are made for them to stay.

2) I take them for city trips to show them the interesting parts of the city.

3) I also help them in further travel in India or with any other thing that they need assistance in.

Here are some of the local trips I usually take couch surfers for :)

a) The Flamingo Trip at Sewri Creek (I stay 1 km away from this beautiful place where Flamingos from all the parts of the world come from November to February. 4 hour trip to see these birds andd click them is a once in a lifetime experience) -

b) The Dharavi Slums trip (The largest slums. Experience the life of people living here. Also see how Danny Boyle represented them in wrong way in his film Slumdog Millionnaire) [6 hours total with an hour of shopping, 15 minutes of local train traveling and 1 hour of an awesome lunch]

c) Kamathipura (Asia's largest Prostitution hub and probably the world's largest one too!) [2 hour trip with a visit to NGO helping the prostitutes and an awesome lunch]

d) Downtown heritage walk [10 hours with lunch, breakfast, visit to everything that is old + Mahatma Gandhi's Mumbai house and the seaside + a lot of shopping!]

Ask me for details of any trip and I will provide you. I conduct these trips to provide happiness and the real view of my city to my guests.. I do not charge a single penny so please be clear on this!

The majestic Himalayas. They made me realize the fragility of human beings in front of Mother Nature.
