Introvert, Goofy, Scattered, Appreciative, Considerate, Kind, Confused

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive been on this site for many years but everything was erased due to inactivity for a bit ... ive hosted and been hosted (no neg feed back, yay!)

im on here because i think this is a wonderful site and have had great experiences because of it ... im hoping to use this as another tool for networking, meeting up with other travelers and, of course to be hosted

Interests

My interest so far are learning to relax, havent quite mastered it yet ... I read A LOT! out doors as much as possible, learning about edible wild plants, upcycling trash, seamstress, conversations, life ... im sure ill add more later

  • literature
  • cooking
  • politics
  • business
  • religion

Music, Movies, and Books

movies - Fight Club!!!!!! Revolver, the Big Lubowski, A-ngel, Freeway
Music - too much
Books - Ishamel (changed my life), Song of Fire and Ice, Johnny got his gun, Giver, Damien, the power of myth, Radical Simplicity, in the absence of the sacred

Teach, Learn, Share

i can have deep and serious conversations at inappropriate times (politics and religion at a bar) lol - i always appreciate a healthy exchange of life views and philosophies, at this point in my life i believe this exchange is the most beneficial to me ... im a seamstress, owned my own cleaning business, been a live in nanny, Bachelors in English Literature, TEFL certified, and pretty handy around the house - lifting heavy stuff, opening jars, etc ...

What I Can Share with Hosts

a stress free experience! ive been told that i make a great first impression, ppl are comfortable being around me ... im always curious, not saying I'm a chef but I like to cook for people, i always try my best to be respectful (sometimes cultural ignorance sneaks in but I'm humble enough to be corrected) and the fact that i am a guest in someones home and country is ever present in my thoughts and actions ... ive done the communal living (15 people) so i think i have a good idea on how to be inclusive and considerate of those around me ... oh and communication is something i practice all the time!
