About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a very positive person always trying to do the best of any situation. I was born in Germany but my parents are from Sri Lanka so I grew up in between two cultures and tried to get the best out of each of them.
Now having lived in Costa Rica for more or less one year I awoke the Tico in me who has a lot of similarities to the tamil in me.
Right now i'm living and studying in Graz, Austria.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing thanks to my best friend Bryan who has been hosting Couchsurfers for quite some time now. I met him traveling in Costa Rica and he told me about all his experiences in Couchsurfing so I simply wanted to be a part of this movement.
Interests
I love sports and music. Besides working as a football trainer I used to go to the gym a lot. Since May 2014 I've started to train MMA (Mixed Material Arts)
I love listening and discovering Music.
I played the Drums for about 9 years and play a little of Guitar and Piano.
Another very big part of my life is dancing. When I listen to good music I start to dance. No matter if I'm waiting for a bus, walking to work or in a disco where everybody else is to shy to dance. In Costa Rica I got used to open the dance floor in discos and partys because I never care about beeing the first or only one to dance.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of Music:
My favorite genres are: Hip-Hop, Rap, Drum and Bass and Dubstep
I also really like most electronic music except for Goa and too hard techno. I can listen to it and even dance to it but its not my preferred music taste
Through playing the drums I also got a little bit into rock and jazz.
Futhermore I actually love al kind of Music you can dance to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been Volcano boarding in Leon, Nicaragua. That was awesome :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I often read quotes like: If nobody hates you, you did something wrong.
Coming from an Asian culture I was raised different and don't really believe in this way of thinking. I usually try to make people feel comfortable with me without being a totally different person. Still I learned to appreciate people that accept me how I am and let people go that don't.
Someone told me: You can be truly happy if you learn to be alone without being lonely. I'm trying to figure out the right way to get there and find out for myself if that is what I need.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good time with me :)
I can offer the story of my until now not to long but intercultural life in a Tamil-household in Germany with all its difficulties and perks. Culture-clashes to the
finest ;)
I was told that it is really fun to go out and especially dance with me, which actually always is included. :)
