CURRENT MISSION

I am an author and economist and the founder of the Institute for Economic Evolution, whose purpose is to advance economic research that evaluates society holistically by including all stakeholders and available data to address contemporary challenges.

At my home in Tampa I have hosted over 80 travelers from over 20 countries in the past 5 years and made so many great connection and friends. I've surfed in three countries and loved every experience.

One of my favorite experiences was using Couchsurfing so I I could both audition and subsequently speak at TEDxAkron in 2018.

My personally mission statement is that, “I see distant horizons clearly and work meticulously towards them.” I am living this life to contribute to society in a positive way and work every day towards that goal by building strong relationships, learning constantly and passionately following my curiosity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoying showing off Tampa Bay by hosting travelers and regularly seeing my own city through the eyes and experience of others.

I am also on a mission to travel with my book, Unlocking the Labor Cage, and share this new idea for improving the whole of society through technology and education. I have left numerous copies in Little Free Libraries around the United States.

Interests

Time with friends and time writing and wondering. Also enjoy, outdoor activities like running and going to the beach or camping. Live music is a regular necessity.
