Hey! I’m a 21 year old guy from a small village in Austria. I’m used to mountains, big forests, adorable people and a lot of animals (especially cows).

But since I was a child I have this dream. One day I want to change my balanced life into an adventure. I dreamed of travelling through Middle and South America. Finally it becomes reality and I’m so excited.

I’m not used to be alone, since I have three older brothers and one older sister. That is one more reason why I’m looking for friendly locals and hosts wherever I can find them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To find hosts to help me through my current journey, and hopefully some of them visit me in Austria when I’m back.
If you are looking for traditional Austrian clothes, then you should definitely visit me in my village, because my parents are tailors.

Interests

Generally, I like to talk about philosophic stuff. I love all kinds of art. Especially if an artist expresses his deep emotions. Isn’t it fascinating to feel something while watching a painting or listening to a song.
However, what I love even more is to create art. Playing some easy chords on the piano and shouting out all my emotions helps me to come down. Sometimes I also sing with my brother, who is a professional guitarist.

History is another interest of mine. I can’t wait to learn more about Middle and South America.

I’m addicted to sport. Since January I make regular Workouts to shape my body 😉. Going out for a jog is a good possibility to clear my mind. It helps me to see the problems with another point of view. My favourite outdoor activities are skiing, hiking, climbing, swimming, ice skating, biking and maybe soon also surfing.

I’m a passionate painter and I can cook pretty well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a lot of music. Especially, punk rock, folk rock, hard rock, jazz, pop…
My favorite bands are the “Red Hot Chili Peppers”, “Oasis”, the “Foo Fighters”, and the “Beatles".

My favorite book is the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It's about finding your own way of life. And about being brave enought to fulfill your dream.
My dream takes place in Central- and Southamerika.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With 18 years I travled for 11 days to London. At the beginning I was alone. But soon I had a lot of friends there.
It was an amazing time - different from all the other daily life stuff!
Now, I hope I can travel soon again to this awesome city and meet my friends!

I’m open-minded and want to get better in Spanish and English. Maybe I can help others to learn German too.

In Central- and Southamerika I want to learn especially about locals life, food and surfing. hopefully I can reach personal growth.

As a guest I am polite and respectful, enjoy spending time with hosts, however I can also be totally independant. One of my great passions in life is cooking and sharing food. I especially enjoy learning other culinary delights! So let's eat together?
