I´m an active girl, always hungry for more experience. Besides studying, i play basketball and meet friends. In fact, my passion is cooking and eating, as well as languages, culture and other countries. And the best part of that: these two passions can easily be combined ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´m very enthousiastic about this homepage: visiting a country as a tourist isn´t the "real way", i believe. I want to get to know the people, their behavior, their hopes and fears and how the manage their day-to-day live. It is couchsurfing, that allows me to make this experience and i´absolutely embrace this possibility to travel and to also host people from other countries and show them the german/my way of life [which is not always the same ;)]
In fact, when travelling, i learn so much about my own culture, because just when discovering that there´s something diferent somewhere else i get conscient about my own culture. And that´s kind of creepy... before travelling, i wasn´t really aware of my own culture.
