ABOUT ME

About me... I'm VERY VERY VERY interested in anything about cultural exchanges and travelling! After three years at the University in Montpellier (South of France), I thought it was high time for me to leave my native country to spend a year in Australia with a working holiday visa, that allowed me to discover and enjoy this amazing culture. Then, I went back to France, where I spent two more years at the University (in Paris this time). During those two years, I was planning to leave again, but with a new and more precise project: I wanted to teach French in the United States. And... HERE I AM! In the US, teaching French101 at the University of Wisconsin Madison, a job that I really love and intend to extend for one more year :) In short, I think that I'm a sociable, curious and open-minded person, who would love to explore more of the US and many other countries all over the world!

Interests

As I said, I'm kind of a curious person, so I'm interested in a lot of things! Which can be, at some points, a problem, since this curiousity sometimes prevents me from going deeper into specific subjects. In short, I like to do and discover a bit of everything! :)
In my everyday life, I really enjoy going to the movie theatre, it's the kind of activity that relax me the most! Going to the restaurant with my friends, leaving the city for the day or the weekend to explore the surroundings (more or less far from the city), going shopping with my girl friends... Those are some of the things that I enjoy to do during my free time! I also enjoy taking language classes this year at UW Madison (so many options here, so many language courses offered, it's unbelievable, I would be stupid to not take advantage of it). I intend to take a Zulu class next semester btw!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a very good audience when it's about movies. So, ask me to go to the movie theatre with you, and I'll probably even don't ask you about the title before going! But, here are a few examples of movies that I really like : The Artist, Intouchables, Les Choristes, Invictus, Will Hunting, Captain Phillips etc. I also like cartoons and animated movies... AND Tv shows!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made an amazing nine-month overseas travel, including seven months in Australia where I made a five-month
road trip through the country!! It was an amazing experience, full of surprises and challenges, such an amazing memory that I'll be glad to share with anyone who would interested in hearing about it :)
