ABOUT ME

I LOVE being active-- Hiking, yoga, belly dancing, rock climbing--you name it I am usual up for it. I also love history and art, and while Las Vegas lacks the number of museums that most major cities have I try to find culture wherever I can.

Going to concerts, eating at hole-in-the-wall restaurants, visiting book stores, going to the farmer's market, and playing video games are some of the things I enjoy doing in my free time. My friends and I are always up to something fun!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just found out about couchsurfing from my friend and her couchsurfer from Germany. I think it is quite possibly the coolest idea ever, so I thought I would give it a try!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but i'm down to meet up with people for coffee, sushi, whatever.

Interests

About me professionally: I am going to graduate school in fall 09' for history and museum studies. I plan to do public relations for museums and will probably go on to get my Ph.D. in British history.

About me and travel: I am quite passionate about traveling. My boyfriend and I are planning a trip around Europe next summer, and I can't wait!! I would love to show travelers the 'other' side of Las Vegas (us locals rarely go to the strip) and hear their perspective on life, the universe, and everything (Douglas Adams reference there). I hope this will be a great networking tool getting in touch with other travelers, hopefully meeting up with some cool people in Vegas and in my upcoming trip to Europe.

♥Driven across the United States (from Las Vegas, Nev. to Wilmington, De. and back!)
♥Gone to the last island in the U.S. with wild horses
♥Flown over the Grand Canyon
♥Been inside the world's largest elephant-Lucy
♥Shook Bill Clinton's hand/waited 8-hours to see Ronald Regan's coffin in Simi Valley, California (my dad forced me!! but it ended up being a great experience)
