Saw a bunch of profiles where people wrote sooo many interesting things about themselves whereas my profile was pretty bland and basic - so let's try again and give you some more information!

I'm a Balkan woman that was raised in Germany, so I kinda have a two-culture personality going on there.

I'm currently in the life chapter of "I have no clue what I'm doing but let's enjoy this phase as weird as it is"!
I have quite spontaneously decided to move to Vietnam and work as an English teacher. Hopefully I'll be able to host some of you there!

Apart from that, I have different obsessions that come and go.

My current obsession:
genmaicha tea, pomelo and silken tofu!

My lastest rabbit holes:
sharks, astrology, ayurveda, cooking

My all-time interests that come and go:
yoga, crocheting, books, random facts, languages, food, tea, animals

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I love most about traveling are the authentic connections with others! I love how keen people are to connect while traveling and the sense of community you get after only spending a couple of days together.
I strongly believe that we need for human connection in this world 🥰

Apart from checking out sightseeing hotspots, I generally try to dive deep into local life! What the culture is like, the traditions, the food, the people - couchsurfing provides an amazing platform for that!

Funnily enough, I've only used it twice. Once alone and once with a friend.
I now want to use to more often though!

I looooove rock! Any kind literally - indie rock, country rock, classic rock, etc.

MOVIES
I definitely watch more shows than movies. If I'd have to pick something I'd go with movies that have a happy end, documentaries, fantasy, action, thrillers (no horror though!) and of course: Studio Ghibli ❤️

BOOKS
Lately I've read more non-fiction. Currently devouring books about yoga and ayurveda along with a murder story.
I read way too many murder stories.
