Practical info:
50 yrs old. Travelling with my friend Andres. I am not a vegetarian, no problem if you are. I have a mild mobility disability which means long walks and lots of stairs are out for me. Very good cook. Tidy and cooperative, used to being a guest and a hostess.
Life info:
By trade an interpreter/translator/writer. By choice a person who travels often and enjoys community life greatly.

I lost my last membership through lack of use :(
Since joining again I have hosted people in my London home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have always had lots of people staying over, friends and friends of friends. Travelled in several countries where I have stayed with people whom I have met.

Travel (been on 4 continents, if you count the asiatic part of Istambul)

Ancient and modern Greece.
The Arabic and Jewish cultures in Europe (I was raised a free-thinker in a Catholic country)

Seen... we could be here for some time! But let´s be brief:

My mother talking down a group of children guerrilla who were going to rob/assault us while travelling in Mozambique in the early 1980´s.

Done:

Got over existing and learnt to live!
Becoming a published writer
Travelled all around Mt Olympus in my wheelchair with the help of friends
