ABOUT ME

I am from California and I have lived in Panama, Ghana, and Japan.

I love the mountains and the desert. I also like exploring the nooks and crannies of city streets and random restaurants and bars.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that one of the ways to make our world a better place is to bring people together! Yay couchsurfing!

More randomly, I have a personal mission to try as many strange and interesting foods as possible.

So far I've eaten grasscutter (like a big rat) in Ghana, crickets and grasshoppers in Thailand (so yummy), fermented soybean (natto) in Japan, and lots of other things that seem delicious to me but strange to others (peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, anyone??)

I am new to the community, but I am really interested in being more involved. I love hostessing in general, and I love having guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a couple of people, it was great. Had a couple of people stay with me, also great.

I have the awful habit of rewatching movies over, and over, and over again. But I really love Amelie, Lilo and Stitch, Finding Nemo, Four Rooms, My Neighbor Totoro, Whale Rider, The White Balloon, Princess Mononoke, The Princess Bride...
