Hey there, my name is Vipin. I'm 26 year old and an Indian by birth. Currently I'm pursuing Master's degree in Management- Marketing (MBA) and has come to ESC, Clermont-Ferrand, France for 3 months (till 5th December) on International Student Exchange Programme.

I love traveling and meeting new people. I have been traveling and trekking from past 5 years. In India I generally stay in hostels so that I can meet new people and learn more about them, their country, their culture and life. I have also done trekking in Himalayas (highest altitude gained was 16700 feet). Besides that I have done desert trek in Thar Deserts of India, Beach trekking in South Goa, dangerous river rafting in Ganges river in Rishikesh, and have a basic know how about mountain climbing and surviving in difficult situations.

Though I come from a normal middle class Indian family, everything in Europe in nearly 3.5 times more expensive due to currency difference (phew). This is why I decided to make a profile on Couchsurfing (not a lot of people do couchsurfing in India though). I am looking forward to meeting amazing people who can introduce me to their culture and tell me more about they life and experiences (which I am guessing will be pretty amazing to hear).

I will be glad if you can accommodate me for one day and tell me something about your amazing diverse experiences.

PS- I can cook basic Indian food, Indian breakfast, 8-10 different types of tea. I am also a (mediocre level) sketch artist, a (bidding) photographer, a marketing buff, and lastly a fun to hang out with kind of person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I did paragliding from Bir Biling, which is the second highest paragliding point in the world and well known for organizing World Paragliding Championship.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Hindi (the most common spoken language in India), Yoga (I know nearly 10 types of yoga including some very powerful yoga techniques), and tips on trekking in mountains (I have been a regular himalayan trekker from past 5 years).

I am open to learn more about the language, culture and food of the country I am visiting.

I can also make some Indian breakfast, 8-10 different type of tea, pencil sketches and write poetry for you. :)
