My name is Virag and I'm from Hungary. I'm 24 years old: traveladdict, optimistic and open-minden. I have a BA degree in marketing and currently I'm studying Tourism management MA in Budapest.

I've participated in a programme called "Work&Travel" four times, I've spent 4 summers in the U.S. with my boyfriend, Krisz. I am crazy about traveling, I always grab every opportunity to explore this amazing world that's why I love platforms like Couchsurfing, Workaway etc.. I'm constantly working on my bucketlist because life's way too short and I don't want to waste it.

My bucketlist number 1 is Peru but I want to visit Turkey, Kenya, Greece, Jordan and Thailand in the near future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I "used" Couchsurfing several times with my friends and I have very good experiences. In my opinion, it's a great opportunity to travel and get to know more about the country the locals and their stories. I was a couchsurfer in Los angeles, New york, San Francisco and Madrid. All of my hosts were kind and they helped me a lot. It shows that there are good people who are willing to share their home and experiences even with strangers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite books: I love almost all kinds of books; crimis, novels, romantic, fantasy and also business books.

Moovies: I'm crazy about series, I could watch them all day. Few of my favourites are 24, Shark Tank, Money Heist, Blacklist and Walking dead.

I don't have a favourite music because it depends on my mood what I'm listening but I love every latin song.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016 I was travelling in the U.S. for a month from the money I earned when I was 20.

In 2017 I visited Hawaii & Canada and did workaway in a hop farm.

In 2018 I celebrated my birthday in Las Vegas and visited the Grand Canyon.

In 2021 I swimmed with wild dolphins in th Red Sea.
