My name is Vira. I'm Ukrainian, from Zaporizhzhya, currently live and study in Kyiv. I`m a student of Polish Philology at Taras Shevchenko National University. My hobby is a traditional Ukrainian art – «pisankarstvo» (Easter eggs). I am fond of Ukrainian traditions, folk culture and history of my country.

I am open-minded, easy-going person with sense of humor :) I like travelling, learning languages . Aslo I like to learn our amazing planet, try something new, discover new cultures, meet interesting people and have adventures with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always opened to find new friends! And Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet a lot of people from all over the world! As for me, unforgettable trips, communication with the locals is the best priceless experience . In my opinion , the only way to learn a new country, its culture, customs and traditions is observing a local’s people lifestyle. Besides, Couchsurfing is much more better that boring hotels.

I would be very happy to stay with local people, who would like to tell me lot of interesting things about their city and country. And I will be very glad to host you in my home in Zaporozhye or Kyiv :)
