Hi everyone, I'm Virgil.

After a long and deep conversation with myself I decide to travel for the first time of my life, alone with my backpack to travel all around central and south America!

I am funny, easy going, curious about other languages, other cultures, and happy to share moments and experiences with people who have differents ideas which let me think further than my own thoughts.

Travel is about sharing and when you have the opportunity to be host by locals, it's more instructive and intense because you enjoy more this travel experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to meet new people, share experiences with hosts or travellers, share activities with travelmate.

I want to know differents cultures, know how is the life outside my own world and it would be very instructive for the future.

And I am here to learn a lot about myself during this trip !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The moment that I decide (after a very long period of reflection) to travel.

I had a good job, owner of my appartment, but I miss something and I still don't know what it is.

So I quit my job, I rent my appartment, I bought a backpack and then I'm here. The biggest decision of my life.

I don't know if it will go easy, maybe I will fail. But I will try, and that, I'm proud of that.
