Hi ! I am Virgile !
I am a student in art history in the "Ecole du Louvre", an art history school inside the Louvre Palace.

I travelled one month alone this summer in Germany, Belgium and mostly Netherlands. This opportunity was really great to meet people and discover culture !

This was a great experience and I'm very thankful to the hosts I had there. That's why I'm considering to host people myself now.

I am a connoisseur of the Louvre and generally of art in Paris museums (at least, I fake it). So if you're up to discover art gems in Paris museums, I'll be there !

I'm currently doing a solo trip in Italy so I can't really host during July, sorry :(

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to discover new cultures and people ! I believe being around locals is the real best way to understand their culture and share stories.

Books : Dante Inferno and Dante Vita Nova, Phèdre (Racine), Baudelaire (Fleurs du Mal and art critique) hard to pick....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've raised 30 000 euros with 25 people in high school association for an humanitarian action.

I can cook french food a little bit but most of all I can explain you anything you would wonder about art history ! I can also try to do a private visit with me as guide in your local museum if you wish ! Of course I can help you with French if needed !
