Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Somos dos amigas (Mercedes Rodríguez) que estamos por emprender una nueva aventura en nuestras vidas, vamos a dedicar un tiempo al hermoso pasatiempo de viajar por el mundo.
Nuestro plan es no tener nada planeado e ir a donde nos lleve el viento.
Estamos interesadas en vivir esta experiencia de Couchsurfing porque creemos que es una enriquecedora manera de realizar nuestro viaje y una buena herramienta para conectar y conocer gente agradable en todo el mundo y poder formar un vínculo de amistad.

Are two friends (Mercedes Rodriguez) that are by undertaking a new adventure in our lives, are going to dedicate a time to the beautiful pastime of travel by the world. Our plan is to have nothing planned and go to where take us the wind.
We are interested in this experience of Couchsurfing, because we believe that is a rewarding way to make our trip and a good tool to connect and meet nice people around the world and to form a bond of friendship.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Yo creo que cada experiencia vivida es asombrosa y que el grado de fascinación con que uno la experimente es totalmente personal.
Asi que, según mi perspectiva algunas de las cosas asombrosas que he hecho en mi vida son:
Saltar en paracaídas en Chascomús, Argentina; lo recomiendo, es una inyección de energía.
Una dieta de plantas medicinales y ayahuasca en la selva de Perú, cerca de Tarapoto.
Nadar con una tortuga, sé que para algunas personas esto no resulta asombroso, pero para una uruguaya es como tocar el cielo con las manos.
Haber podido emanciparme en un país como el mío, no me mal interpreten, Uruguay es hermoso y con muchas posibilidades, pero independizarce para alguien joven es algo dificil debido al alto costo de vida.
Poder asombrarme cada vez más por las maravillas de la naturaleza como si fuese una niña que descubre algo por primera vez.
Trabajar con chicos con capacidades diferentes, es algo que amo hacer, todo lo que aprendo con ellos es tanto o más que lo que yo les brindo, asi que disfrutar tanto de lo que hago me resulta asombroso.
Bueno, a riesgo de parecer una tonta romántica, el enamorarme y de tantas maneras diferentes, me parece una receta infalible para el impulso de vida, es un buen sacudón para el alma, la mente, el cuerpo y el corazón. Quien diga que no es divinamente asombroso...
Podria continuar enumerando pero es mejor dejar algo para despues.

I believe that every experience is amazing and that the degree of fascination with that one experience it is totally personal. So that, according to my perspective some of the amazing things that I've done in my life are: skydiving in Chascomus, Argentina; I recommend it, it is an injection of energy.
A diet of medicinal plants and ayahuasca in the jungle of Peru, near Tarapoto. Swim with a turtle, I know that for some people this is not astonishing, but for a Uruguayan it is like touching the sky with your hands.
Having been able to emancipate me in a country like mine, not me poorly interpreted, Uruguay is beautiful and has many possibilities, but independizarce for someone young is difficult due to the high cost of living. To amaze me more and more by the wonders of nature as if it were a girl who discovers something for the first time.
Work with kids with different abilities (intellectual and motor disabilities), it is something I love to do, everything you learn with them is so much or more than what I gave them, so enjoy as much of what I do find it me amazing.
Good, to risk of seem a silly romantic, the fall in me and of so many ways different, me seems a recipe foolproof for the impulse of life, is a good Jolt for the soul, the mind, the body and the heart. Whoever says that it is not divinely amazing... You could continue listing but it is better to leave something for later.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mi lengua materna (español) y las costumbres de mi país.
Quiero aprender a comunicarme y entender un poco más de ingles, algo de italiano y portugués.
Me intereza descubrir y vivir las diferentes costumbres y culturas de los lugares que tenga la fortuna de poder concecer.
Me encantaría compartir mi gusto por la rica comida, preparar algo tradicional de mi país para agradecer la hospitalidad, aprender recetas nuevas de cada región y que mejor manera que en el calor de un lindo hogar que nos de la bienvenida.
