About Me

Curiosity is what I always follow -

I come from a town in the south of Piedmont, a north italian region known for its hills and supergood wine (I do love wine more than beer, even if living in Amsterdam has taught me how to love beer as well).
I am in my last year of philosophy bachelor in Turin, but I am looking forward an International Relations master since I have discovered myself to be strongly interested in political philosophy and political-economic global framework. I have always loved studying and keep doing it is my plan still for a while!

My biggest passions beside my studies are riding horses and go to+play theater. I have been attending drama courses/school since I was 14... my hope is to never stop acting when I have free time.

I have been living in Amsterdam for 6 months, and I definitely have a special feeling for this amazing, beautiful city, which has every feature I would like it to have - apart from the freaking crazy winter weather

Anyway, as most of italians, I am deeply in love with Italy, my country, which is for sure one of the most interesting, ambiguous, wonderful places I have ever experienced.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting interesting people and, since my plan is to travel as much as I can with my own money, I always try to find cheap ways to do it!

Music, Movies, and Books

everything depends on the mood, right?
This is a bunch of stuff which has left a sign on me:

Italian music - Zucchero, De Andrè, Einaudi, Mannarino, Dente, I Cani, Iosonouncane
Foreign music - Queen, Beatles, Sting, Artic Monkeys, Kings of Convenience, Jain, Muse, Paolo Nutini, Tame Impala, Morphine, Django Reinhardt

Literature - Ossi di seppia (Montale), La coscienza di Zeno (Svevo), Novecento (Baricco), Kitchen (Yoshimoto)... and quite a lot of ever green philosophers' articles or parts of books: Marx, Nietzche, Simmel, Heidegger, Kant, Foucault, Nussbaum (to be continued)

Movies - Inception, Carnage, Mr. Nobody, Django Unchained (...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been the tutor of a well-known film director during a cultural festival, for 4 full days.
