About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish my study!

ABOUT ME

A dreamer at heart. Tried to watch scary movies- but failed miserably. Intelligent when the subject actually interests me. Not old enough to know everything. Believe in luck- the harder you work, the more luck you get. Love [Italian/Chinese/French] food. Hope to travel the world one day. Intolerant of rude people. Loyal friend. Puppy lover. Try to avoid pessimism. Enjoy small victories in life. Believe that a good cup of tea can mend the worst day. If that doesn’t work- turn to the juice. This is me in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy of life is to be kind, generous, helpful, and honest. The spiritual or transpersonal element is crucial to my mission or philosophy of life. Without a connection to something bigger than ourselves we are nothing. Being connected to the mysteries of the universe, wondering what we are here for, and deciding for ourselves what holds us together are as important as anything else in life. After all we are only here for a short period of time. I wonder what lies beyond and whether we are able to hold on to the threads of uncertainty yet see the connections in why things happen to us and for what reasons. My sense of spirituality is the notion of evolution of self and we are always moving toward some greater fulfillment of purpose. Things happen for a reason because we meet our destiny half way in the way we pursue our existence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To make things more affordable while traveling, I joined Couch Surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A bit anxious, I arrived at my first couch host in Switzerland. I really wasn’t expecting much but a small couch to sleep on. Once I entered his apartment I got the feeling that everything almost seemed too nice. The host Mark was such a friendly guy that he basically opened his house up to me and told me to act freely. After getting to know each other a bit more, Mark took me to a popular drinking spot. The night was full of laughing and partying. The days that I spent there in Switzerland were so perfect.
