ABOUT ME

This is going to be easy!
I am a maths nerd at heart, but love hanging with people who have some form of passion for life! Even if it's a passion for Lego, or soft drink cans! I find it contagious and they are great people to fill your life with :)
My decision making skills outside of work may seem non existent, but this is predominately due to the fact that I am up for anything, and will always try something at least twice!
I love cooking! Unfortunately, I am incredibly bad at it :( Practise practise practise.
Country and folk music are high on my AWESOME THINGS list, along with the banjo! Challenging instrument, but I find I miss it when I travel and leave it at home.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I have been on a two year voyage. So have been unable to host, but if someone is willing to make the trek out to Tabakoto, I will definitely sort something out for you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every experience, albeit different, has been mind opening! Museums, touristy stuff, is not of any interest to me. Fitting into someone else's daily life, and seeing how they live, and getting to know them is much more interesting and memorable. I am more then happy to lend a hand in anything that is going on, although as mentioned, my cooking stinks and my singing is not much better :)

Pretty much anything and everything that doesn't involve sitting down! Climbing, running. Skiing, hiking, listening and learning different types of music, cooking, family time, yoga, dancing
On the other hand......I have 5 fingers! Naahhh, a chill session is always a welcomed must!

Big music fan, so all tunes particulary..Country, bluegrass, folk, Argentinian folkloria, banjo (Earl Scruggs style!)
Not a movie buff, so my answer to "what's your favourite movie?" generally is awkward silence whilst my brain creaks over!

Watching the hills of Mali burning, after the locals set fire to everything following the end of the wet season. The mixture of ash, dust from the Sahara and flame lit mountains makes an AMAZING sunset!
Watching some amigos do polo practise in central Argentina
Hitch hike from Berlin to Prague with a Serbian lad and his Papa
Push start the taxi in Bamako after it ran out of kerosene!
Celebrate Bob Marley's birthday in a bar powered by a deck of 9V batteries in the middle of West Africa.

I am still learning my place and purpose in this wide world, so more than willing to learn learn learn, and I will try and teach teach teach as well.

I have found that people should practise being more open, less judgemental and be more informed on the topics they disagree with, not just say don't agree without any real knowledge!
I don't have any issue with other people's choice with their lives, infact I relish it, as it is different to mine and another source to learn from. The exact reason I enjoy couchsurfing, the hugely different array of people you meet.
