ABOUT ME

I'm a reporter and host for the local NPR affiliate.

After finishing up my MBA, I took on positions at stations across the country - Portland, Indiana, Texas, and now Pittsburgh. I had a great time couch surfing along the way. Now that I'm settled in I'm excited to be able to host fellow travelers coming through town.

My fiance and I are currently exploring Pennsylvania one park at a time - we may never finish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing has been a huge asset in my travels and cross country moves. While work doesn't leave much time for travelling, I enjoy paying the hospitality forward.

We're also new to Pittsburgh and still exploring, but we're happy to host the occasional couchsurfer and share the discoveries we've made so far.

Interests

Hiking, camping, and backpacking consume most weekends.

There's also lots of cooking, sewing, and reading in the house. Living near so many trails, we generally bike to get around.
