About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am currently saving the world literally 1 person at a time in the Peace Corps, the tough test job you'll ever love!
ABOUT ME
I am a very open and honest person. I respect others and hope for the same. I truly enjoy meeting people, I am not a couch potato, I love to do anything. And will do anything once and maybe twice if the first time experience was a little odd. I have jumped out of a plane (tandem parasailing), owned a restaurant in Costa Rica when I knew NOTHING about cooking and still have a home there.
PHILOSOPHY
Every person has the ability to help, even if it's just planting the seeds of desire to learn and help your community.
Peace, love and understanding.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too much to mention! I use all my Gb watching tv series, because I miss American TV so much!!! I have an album collection of over 1200 records! Yes, that's right VINYL! And now that I have an iPad I read a lot of books. That's one of the advantages here, when you have downtime - like it's hot as hell or cold as the Antarctic the only thing you can do is read! I love historical novels and true stories. My collection before I donated it all the the San Jose library was hard bound books of Stephen King, Isaac Asimov, Clancy, classics like the Old Man and the Sea.
Love, love music, the greats of the 60s and 70s and who doesn't love The Beatles?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I skied, on my birthday July 2000, in the Chilean Andes! Best 10 grand I spent I my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach English, self esteem and learned to speak Spanish so I could make it into the peace corps. I also learned French for 5 years before my desires changes to south of the border.
I can knit, you should see the blanket I knit for my house in Paraguay. My host family is awe and believe me my mom would have been very proud. One of the things she taught me when I was a young girl to keep my mind off puberty!
