About Me
ABOUT ME
I was born for adventure, I love all people, and most of all, I am destined to create. I am a photographer and artist. I enjoy capturing images on 35mm film in a documentary-type manner and I also love creating descriptive and environmental portraits. I also love to paint and make music. I can play the piano (classically trained, but a little rusty these days due to lack of a piano) and make pretty sounds on the guitar. I am a positive and loving person.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is what I make of it, I am what I make of myself and it all begins with thoughts and ideas. Love is the greatest power.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I don't currently have a couch, but I do have a floor if you're desperate.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed in Boulder, Colorado once with a wonderful girl in 2010. I left her with a few art prints, which she hung on the wall. She recently wrote me and said that all the other couch surfers comment and love it. It was a great experience and she was a great host.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love documentaries a whole lot: Baraka, Samsara, Manufactured Landscapes, Food Inc, The Lightbulb Conspiracy, No Impact Man, Rivers and Tides, Babies, The Gerson Miracle, Business of Being Born, Zeitgeist, The Union, Religulous, etc.
Music I'm attracted to: Funk, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Hawaiian, Indie, Middle-Eastern, drumming, Cuban, Ambient electronica, classical.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most adventurous thing I've done so far is travel to New Orleans with Burlesque performers from St. Louis to document the trip, burlesque shows, and squeeze in some street photography.
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope to make telling portraits of the couchsurfers I encounter, whether I host or they host me someday. Naturally, I would do that anyway, but I think this would be a great thing to share with those I encounter.
