Hi everyone,

I am Virginie, I am 24 years old and I am from Switzerland.

I studied accounting and I have a specification in international transport.
I worked one year for an international transport company and I got so bored by my job and by the routine that I decided that it was time to travel!

I started my journey almost a year ago in California.
One of my biggest dream was to go to some national parks and I've finally done it! Then, I took a flight to Chile and met a friend of mine from Switzerland and since them, we have been travelling throughout South America together.

I am a really easy person. I am calm but sociable.
Even if it's not that easy for me to speak spanish, I will always make the effort to speak and try to understand people.

I am in Couchsurfing because I think that is a great opportunity to get to know new people.
It's a great way to learn about different cultures and way of thinking.

Books

I love reading anything. I don't have a book that I like more than the others but "The alchemist" from Paolo Coehlo really got me!

Music

I like listening to Jack Johnson, The Fray, Adele, The Beatles and other French singers.

If I am going out I like any type of music that will make me move :)
I am not a great dancer but I love dancing!

Movies

I really like "Taken"

I am not at all into horror movies.
I like watching anything but I have a preference for comedy and movies that teach me something.

I think the most amazing thing I've done so far was to quit my job and started travelling!
That was a real eyes opener and this is one of the decision of my life that I will never regret.

I've done a really hard walk at Cran Canyon.

I did paragliding in Geneva.

A 5 days trek in Peru called "Choquequirao".

I would love to share my travel experiences, how is it to live in Switzerland and the cultural difference with South America.

I would be glad to share my state of mind and different way (or not) of thinking.

I am not an English native speaker but I am almost fluent so it is not a problem for me to help anyone.

I am not that much into cooking but I love cooking cakes and pastry!!!! If you have an oven I would be glad to make you a brownie.
