Overview
About Me
I'm currently on a mission to become a doctor, or more accurately I'm a PhD student in Montpellier, France.
What it really means is that I spend most of my days in front of the computer, not much to my liking. Sometimes I am lucky enough to leave abroad for field work, usually in some pretty decent looking and warm countries.
Update : Luck stroke again and I will be working in Farakava, French Polynesia in June, looking for a place to stay a few days in Tahiti after in early July :)
When I'm not sitting at the lab all day long, I enjoy going outside and enjoy whatever is there. I can find enjoyment everywhere, in plain nature hiking and observing nature or in a big city with everything it has to offer, from architecture, local culture or of course local food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe Couchsurfing is the best opportunity to actually travel when visiting a place as you won't find yourself among tourists. To me the best thing about travelling is more about getting to meet people and share moments than much more else.
At the moment I have roomates not so willing to open our doors to CS but once I have a place of my own, I would gladly open my place to fellow travelers looking for a place :) I also like the idea of not having to pay for every experience and that everyone can enjoy themselves regardless of their earnings.

Music, Movies, and Books
I happen to be very hard at picking things, and having to choose my favorites is always difficult.
I really like reading and am desperate at the little amount of time I have had to read lately. I would read anything that makes me think, there is so much interesting topics to read about and always so little time. For some reason I particularly like dystopian novels.
Regarding music, I like everything that's real music and not straight coming out of the radio as the new summer Hit. Always up to discover new things.
My taste in films are broad and again, as long as it's not those big commercial action movies, I am up for everything.
